Paris, October 31, 2017 -We made it!! From today Alba officially joins the prestigious network of UNESCO Creative Cities, as "Creative City for Gastronomy". This recognition strengthens the international and creative vocation of the city, which in its application has proposed projects and actions in the chosen cultural sector and in the others of the network, to be shared and developed in dialogue and collaboration with other cities in already in UCCN.
The investiture in Paris was followed by a huge event at the headquarters of UNESCO (Creativeitaly - November 3, 2017): all the Italian cities that this year runned for the call took part, both the victorious ones(Alba, Carrara, Milan, Pesaro) and those excluded this turn (Alghero, Genoa).
Alba, who coordinated the entire event, was there with the whole project team: Comune di Alba, Ente Turismo Langhe Roero, Fiera Internazionale del Tartufo Bianco d’Alba, Accademia Italiana Bocuse d’Or, BIA Srl.
And now, at work!
